This position will report to the Sr. Director of Marketing & Communications. This role provides marketing support by executing digital initiatives, and marketing projects with responsibilities that include digital marketing, social media, and project management. This position will regularly collaborate with senior leadership to ensure efforts of marketing campaigns support Audubon Companies' mission and objectives.
The ideal candidate will be a B2B digital and social media expert with business acumen. He/she will be part digital strategist, part researcher/analyst, and part project manager. The primary objective is to measurably elevate the company's brand to increase revenue and brand awareness.
Core responsibilities include maintaining WordPress and other digital assets, onsite and offsite search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), and social media marketing which includes content development, publishing, growing, and optimizing social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram), and other marketing functions as needed.
JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work in conjunction with the corporate marketing team to manage and execute marketing projects.
Develop marketing content for social media channels.
Develop and manage monthly editorial calendar
Create compelling channel-specific content for all social channels to grow and optimize Linkedin and grow all social channels
Maintain, audit and update company WordPress websites and digital assets.
Analyze web traffic metrics, develop and execute solid plans to increase page views, unique visitors, dwell time and site stickiness to encourage repeat usage.
Set digital marketing strategies using all necessary tools to support business.
Drive optimization of the company websites and social media profiles through effective application of SEO/SEM strategies; utilize search engine analytics to measure traffic and recommend improvements.
Serve as a subject matter expert for digital marketing activities, identifying and applying best practices in digital marketing.
Monitor competitive landscape and proactively recommend new campaigns to maintain competitive advantages.
Adheres to all corporate brand identity guidelines and help promote uniformity and consistency of brand.
Acts as project lead for assigned marketing projects.
Coordinate flow of information and communication and disseminate it according to plan/strategy.
Execute and manage PPC advertising initiatives.
Other special projects and assistance as assigned.
3 or more years of progressive digital marketing experience executing SEM, SEO programs with clear quantifiable results.
3 or more years of experience in B2B social media marketing with emphasis on LinkedIn as well as FB, Twitter, Instagram.
3 or more years managing marketing projects.
Marketing background in Engineering or Professional Consulting Business strongly preferred.
Strong project management skills.
Comprehensive understanding of higher level digital marketing strategies for B2B sector.
Comprehensive understanding of SEO best practices and ability to leverage SEO insights to optimize SEM programs including: sitemaps, noindex / nofollow / rel=canonical tags, sitespeed, etc.
Solid knowledge of Google Analytics and Webmaster tools
Superb command of the English language - superior written (grammar) communication skills including writing, proofing and editing. Technical writing a plus
Hands on experience with online marketing tools and best practices
Ability to work well under pressure, juggle and prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly, often against tight deadlines.
Must have a thorough understanding of Microsoft Office Programs.
Experience with WordPress and web design/HTML knowledge
Familiarity with TeamWorkPM or other project management systems, knowledge of workflow and processes very important.
Experience with Marketing Automation/email marketing best practices
Moz, SemRush or similar
Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop is preferred.
